The Arts District has come alive with the arrival of artists who are shaping a new a sense of community in this neighborhood. The murals, the industrial yards, the cold storage warehouses and factories are transforming the area’s vibe into a flourishing space to create art. David Hollen, a sculptor who lives down in the Arts District says “I am in a turning point in the Arts District because I am doing the right thing, at the best time in the best place.” Ampersand’s Ana Luisa González spoke to him about this turning point.
