The literary arts are blossoming inside Avenue 50 Studio, where poet Jessica Ceballos hosts a diverse mix of poetry readings, open mics and writing programs for the greater Highland Park community. Ceballos is a third-generation Angeleno who sees the value in deepening the L.A. narrative by bringing light to the city’s underrepresented voices.
